I L--- You

You would be amazed at how much I've changed,
The way that time has molded me into
Someone so new, how I've been rearranged-
Torn completely apart and rebuilt new.
Like a collage with all your favorite
Memories clipped from the photographs whose
Remnants now lay scattered in the dark pit
Of your waste-bin, that you're happy to lose.
Oh I am now unburdened by that past,
Running happily to a tomorrow
Of pure delight and joy. I have surpassed
My wildest dreams, I have cast off sorrow
If you could see me now, you'd know it's true
But it only happened 'cause I left you.
